Helping you and your computer

May 1, 2008.

You can learn from my mistakes. Do these things before your computer goes down. Here are some helpful hints.

Number one. Backup your data on your computer on a regular basis. There are places on the Internet where can get it done. Or you can buy an external hard drive, but the thing is, back it up regularly.

Number two. Keep all of your software information, whether it's on the disk drive or the copy of the down load information that has the serial numbers on it... If you’re like me you don't always get CDs, but they do come with the download instructions. Then you have the key numbers to put in computer so you can reload the software’s. Put this information in a save spot where you can find it in the future.

I come with great experience on this getting my computer screwed up. A little less than a year ago lightning it my computer. Well, it shot the hard drive. I was dead in the water. It was the best decision I made was to get a new computer. This is going to sound somewhat like an advertisement for Dell Computers. In many ways it is. But my real reason for telling you that they really back up their warranty

Just recently my windows XP professional was corrupted. This is not good, but after hours on the phone with Dell and other people we got the system going. They were able to save much of the data that was on my backup system. I didn't fully back it up on a regular basis. And that's what you're supposed to do.

I now have a lot of lightning protection, and who knows if it will work.

Just to summarize back up your data on a regular basis and keep all your software data information in a place you can find it, so you can read loaded. I thought it could never happen to me. Put it did.

My hope is that you do not have to go through what I did with him the loss my computer.

Make a great day
